Made from durable metal with a smooth finish that protects strings from wear. Includes 2 mounting screws. Available in Black, Nickel, and Gold to match your hardware finish.

What the String Bar Does

The string bar (also called a string retainer or string guide) sits behind the locking nut on Floyd Rose-style tremolo systems, applying downward pressure on the strings to ensure they seat correctly in the nut slots and maintain consistent string-to-nut contact. Without adequate string bar pressure, strings can pop out of the nut during aggressive tremolo use, causing tuning instability and loss of string lock. A worn, bent, or missing string bar is a common cause of tuning problems on Floyd Rose-equipped guitars — replacing it is a quick, effective fix.
